Fire Earth Slash is a sword technique introduced in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai as one of Dai's signature moves, an Earth Slash granted increased power by channelling the flames of a Frizz spell through the user's weapon.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[edit]
When overwhelmed by Hyunckel, whose armour repels both swords and spells, Dai would instinctively tap into the Dragon Knight's ability to wield both at once, channelling a Frizz spell into his weapon and striking Hyunckel with an enhanced Earth Slash which shatters his armour.
Due to Dai's difficulty in hitting enemies with Frizz, his use of the spell would largely be consigned to Fire Earth Slash after the technique's introduction.
