Negagash is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series, introduced as a sinister variant of Gigagash used by villains. It slashes through a group of enemies with a blade of pure darkness.
Localization history[edit]
Negagash and Shadow Blast are the same skill in the Japanese language, with the differing names likely due to Tact being translated by a different contractor than Shloc ltd, which has worked on the series since 2010 with Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Negagash can be learned by Mordegon Lord of Shadows at level 56 and costs 64 MP to use. It inflicts 290% potency Zam-type physical damage to all enemies in a X-shaped area of effect in front of him and has a chance to lower their Zam Resistance for three turns, as well. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
