Shockwave is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is one of Baalzack's signature abilities, slamming his Huge Oaken Club to the ground to launch a seismic shockwave that none can escape from.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Shockwave can be learned by Baalzack at level 54 and costs 120 MP to use. It inflicts major surehit martial damage to all enemies in a rhombus-shaped area around him and rarely stuns them too. Upgrading the skill increases its damage.
