Dark Puppetry Aura Hand is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series first introduced in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. By manipulating Dark Aura, the user is able to immobilise an opponent and control their movements like a puppet. It has gone on appear in spinoff games in the series where Hyunckel and Mystvearn make appearances.

Dark Puppetry Aura Hand is an enemy-only skill used by both Hyunckel and Mystvearn when faced as bosses. It will stun a character for several turns and will inflict around 80 damage per turn while they are incapacitated.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Dark Puppetry Aura Hand can be learned by Hyunckel at level 38 and costs 95 MP to use. It has a range of three squares in front of him and inflicts major Zam-type martial damage and has a chance to stun all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
