Dodgy Dance is a dance in the Dragon Quest series. It increases evasion by a substantial amount in all appearances.

Appearances

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

Dodgy Dance is obtained by advancing to either rank 2 of the Dancer vocation or rank 4 of the Martial Artist vocation. When used, it boosts the character's evasion to 50% for 2~3 turns.

It is used by the enemies Hellstalker and Bronson.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Localized as Sidestep, this skill is learned by reaching rank 5 of the Dancer vocation and rank 3 in the Slime vocation.

Dragon Quest Monsters

Called SideStep in this game, it requires the monster to reach level 9 with 63 HP and 54 agility. It is naturally learned by the DanceVegi, MudDoll, PillowRat and Slabbit.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2

The requirement to learn SideStep are unchanged. It is naturally learned by the Inverzon, LandOwl and WildApe.
