Antimagic is a recurring Wand ability in the Dragon Quest series. It attempts to suppress the spellcasting of one enemy. In the original Japanese, it shares a name with the Staff of antimagic.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

This ability is learned with 7 skill points allocated into Wand skill. Functions as a non-bouncable Fizzle that lasts for 7~10 turns.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Antimagic, like many other skills, is now classified as a Heavy Wand skill and costs 2 MP to use. Veronica and Rab can learn it for 8 and 5 skill points respectively through the Heavy Wands panel on their character builders.
