Jolting Breath is a breath attack in the Dragon Quest series. It exhales a powerful electrical discharge at a group of enemies.

Jolting Breath costs 64 MP to use and inflicts heavy Zap-type breath damage to all enemies and has a chance to inflict paralysis. It can be learned from various skillsets, including Ladja, Murdaw, Leopold, Munchie, and Nokturnus.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Jolting Breath is an enemy-only skill that can be used by certain monsters in high-level stages and boss battles. It costs 61 MP to use and inflicts moderate Zap-type breath damage to all enemies in a T-shaped area of effect in front of the user.
