Spark is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. It damages enemies with an electric shock.


Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit]

Spark costs 6 MP to use and deals 50-60 Zap-type damage to a single enemy. It can be learned with 28 points in the Wulfspade skill.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[edit]

Spark can still be learned from Wulfspade, as well as from Wonder Construction for 18 points. It also now deals a combination of Zap and Sizz-element damage.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Spark is known naturally by Cyber slime at level 1 and costs 7 MP to use. It deals minor Zap-type martial damage to all enemies in a radius of 1 around the user. It can also be taught to any unit by using an ability scroll, which is earned as a reward from completing the second stage of the Dancing flame's Battle Road.
