Fan Dango is a fan technique in the Dragon Quest series. It launches 3-4 strikes on random targets for 50% damage per whack, unless noted otherwise.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]

In the 3DS version, Fan Dango can be learned by investing 30 skill points into Red's Fans skillset. She attacks 3-4 times on random targets at 50% damage per strike, just like in Dragon Quest IX. It costs 0 MP to use.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

This ability is learned with 88 skill points allocated into Fan skill.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]

Fan Dango costs 8 MP and launches 3~4 attacks at random foes. The damage is calculated as (User's agility + (target's defence x 0.25)) x 0.1, with the upper limit per strike being 285. Fan Dango is learned though the Charmer, Just Ruler, Party Monster, Pop Idol, and Rug Cutter talents.
