Multithrust is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series. It launches 3-4 strikes on random targets at 50% damage each in most appearances.

The hero can use Multithrust as a spear technique after investing 25 skill points into the associated skill.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

This ability is learned with 88 skill points invested into Spear skill.

Dragon Quest X

Multithrust can be learned by Martial Artists, Priests, Paladins, and Item Masters by allocating 120 skill points into the Spear skill. It costs 4 MP to use and has a charge time of 25 seconds. It launches four attacks at 75% strength each.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Jade learns Multithrust for 18 points in her Spears section of the character builder. It shanks four random targets within a group for 75% damage per stab, 300% damage against a single foe. It costs 12 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below

Multithrust is one of Kiryl's basic attacks that is used by performing two heavy attacks in a row. He will make an upward spinning slash attack with his spear, followed by a series of fast upward spear thrusts into the air. Kiryl can follow it up by performing a slamming spear attack on the ground with a light attack or a swiping slash if he uses a heavy attack.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End

Multithrust can be performed by Lazarel or Teresa as well if they have a spear equipped.

Dragon Quest Tact

Multithrusts can be learned by Orc chieftain at level 26 and costs 25 MP to use. It inflicts 60% potency physical damage to random enemies in range of two squares in front of the user four times.
