Venom Breath is a recurring breath attack in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in the Monsters spinoffs that can severely poison all enemies. It closely resembles the Venom Mist skill from the main series, however, it is different ability with somewhat different effects. Since it is a breath skill, it is susceptible to skills such as TailWind, while Venom Mist is not affected.
Appearances[edit]
Dragon Quest Monsters[edit]
First appearing in this game, PoisonAir is an upgraded version of PoisonGas and costs 4 MP to use. PoisonGas will grow into PoisonAir when a monster reaches Level 14 with at least 98 HP and 84 Intelligence.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2[edit]
PoisonAir now requires 154 intelligence to upgrade from PoisonGas.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit]
Venom Breath can be learned from:
- Bad Breath (80 points)
- Mortamor (10 points)
- Toxifier (38 points)
- Über Breath (19 points)
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[edit]
Venom Breath can be learned from all the skills it could be previously, as well as from Wormonger for 38 points.
