Double-Edged Slash is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It deals high damage but inflicts recoil on the user.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
Double-Edged Slash inflicts 150% damage, but the user takes 25% recoil damage. It is obtained by advancing to rank 4 of the Warrior vocation.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past
The skill has the same parameters as before, but is now learned by reaching rank 4 of the Gladiator vocation. In the 3DS remake the skill deals 170% and the recoil is reduced to 1/6th.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
This ability is learned with 42 skill points allocated into Guts skill. The parameters are the same as in VI.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Double-slash is unlocked for 20 points in Hendrik's Heroism skill tree. It costs 6 MP to use, hits for 320% damage, and inflicts 32% recoil damage upon the knight.

Double-Edged Slash can be learned from:

- Champion (7 points)
- Estark (5 points)
- Martyr (10 points)
