Sandstorm is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It blinds enemies with dusty debris and reduces their accuracy to 5/8ths (62.5%).

Sandstorm is learned at the first rank of the Thief vocation and targets all enemies.

  • In the DS remake the skill's range was reduced to one enemy group.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Sandstorm is again learned at rank 1 of the Thief, but can also be acquired at Rank 4 of the Mimic vocation.

  • In the 3DS remake the skill's range was reduced to one enemy group.
