Paralysing Punch is a skill found in the Monsters subseries that attempts to render its target numb and helpless.

Dragon Quest Monsters[edit]
Known as Paralyze in this game, this ability can be learned by various monsters. It requires the monster to be at least level 9, with 63 max HP, 54 ATK, and 54 INT. It is naturally learned by the Biguana, CactiBall, EvilSeed, GiantMoth, MadHornet, Mummy, SabreMan and TreeSlime. Monsters with the PoisonHit and NapAttack abilities can also learn it.
Dragon Quest Monsters 2[edit]
Paralyze has the same requirements as in Dragon Quest Monsters except that the INT requirement is now 98. It is naturally learned by the Anemon.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit]
Paralysing Punch costs 3 MP to use. It can be learned from:
- Assassin (20 points)
- Bounty Hunter (60 points)
- Guerrilla (63 points)
- Hive Mind (35 points)
- Toxifier (18 points)
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[edit]
Paralysing Punch can be learned from all the skills it could be previously.

Paralysis Attack costs 4 MP and attempts to numb a foe for 2~5 turns. It is learned through the Anaesthetist, Calasmos, Hive Mind, Multidisciplinarian, Orgodemir, and Slayer talents.
