Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]

Asham is one of only a few towns to behave an active night life. In addition to having a dancing club and a fortune teller open at night, it also has a weapons and armor shop only open at night.

The older brother of the Isis minister lives in a townhouse locked behind a door that requires the Magic Key to enter. He waxes philosophically about water being the lifeblood and mankind, but also gives first-time players the direct hint that to enter the eastern lands they will need the Royal Missive from the Portogus Rex of Portoga. A lone Imp appears in the upstairs section of the building locked with at night, it's Morph spell and cat disguise having worn off. It will start a battle when confronted, but why it is there is never explained.
