Confusion Attack is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It launches a melee attack that may confuse a target, making it similar to Fuddle.

Confusion Attack makes its debut as an enemy-only attack that can be used by Fuddleguanas, Guaardvarks, and Poison eveels.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Confusion Attack can be used by Compos mantis, Hexicons, Bagley, and by Orgodemir himself in his third form during the final battle. The confusion lasts between 6 to 9 turns unless it is removed.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Confusion Attack can be used exclusively by Poison eveels in this game.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Confusion Attack can be used by Stale whales, Zumeanies, and Orgodemir when faced as a legacy boss.

Confusion Attack can be used by Axolotls, Bilebonnets, Drooling ghouls, Parched peckerels, and other monsters.
