Propeller Blade is a recurring technique in the Dragon Quest series. It strikes an enemy twice per round with blades of wind from the wielder's claws.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King 3DS[edit]

In the Nintendo 3DS version, Propeller Blade can be learned by Morrie by investing 9 skill points into his Claw skill and costs no MP to use. It deals extra damage to a single enemy based on his level. Unlike other games in the series, the extra damage is not Woosh-elemental.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit]

This ability is learned with 3 skill points allocated into Claw skill. Second blow damage is calculated as ((Level + 4) + / - 20%) and deals wind-elemental damage.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Propeller Blade can be learned by Martial Artists, Thieves, Monster Mashers, and Rangers by allocating 3 skill points into their Claw skill, and costs 3 MP to use. It is a two-stage attack that deals twice the damage of a normal attack on the first, then a second strike that deals a fixed amount of damage.
