Twin Dragon Lash is a recurring whip skill in the Dragon Quest series. It lashes enemies twice in quick succession with a whip.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Jessica can use Twin Dragon Lash after allocating 23 skill points into her Whips skill, and it deals 150% damage per strike for only 3 MP.
- Toned down slightly in the Nintendo 3DS port, the skill now 90% damage per strike. Red can also learn the skill by investing 32 points into her Whips skillset.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
Twin Dragon Lash is learned with 88 skill points allocated into the Whip skill, and deals 125% damage per strike. The MP cost has been increased to 10 MP.
Dragon Quest X
Twin Dragon Lash can be learned by Mages, Thieves, Luminaries, Monster Masters, and Fortune Tellers by allocating 100 skill points into the Whips skill. It costs 8 MP to use and deals 200% damage per strike with a high start up time. At the start of the game, it only dealt 110% damage per strike and cost 12 MP to use.
- In the Offline version of the game, Twin Dragon Lash can only be learned by Duston through the Whips panel in his character builder for 10 skill points.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
Twin Dragon Lash is a secret skill that can be learned by Veronica through the Whips panel in her character builder for 18 skill points, requiring at least four of the surrounding panels to be unlocked first. The ability returns to being overpowered, dealing double damage twice to one enemy for 8 MP.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below
Twin Dragon Lash is a combo finisher for Jessica, performed when she makes four light attacks in a row. When used, Jessica sends out two spectral dragons, one red and one blue, to attack a group of enemies.
Dragon Quest Rivals
Twin Dragon Lash appeared in the 9th card pack, "Reunion and Oath of Lotozetasia" as a rare card exclusive for Mage leaders. It cost 3 MP to use and would deal 3 damage to one enemy unit, then 1 damage to another random enemy unit.
