Ferocious Roar is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series. It inflicts between 120~150 damage to the entire party when the user emits a horrifying scream from their mouths and its usage has been mostly limited to bosses.

Ferocious Roar is used by Mortamor in his third form and Nokturnus. When used, the game states that, "A blistering wave of energy shoots from his mouth!"
