The seasaur is a large [[Aquatic family|aquatic]] monster, similar to the mythological [[Wikipedia:Leviathan|Leviathan]]. It's a relative  of the [[abyss diver]], only far stronger and armed with stronger icy elemental breath attacks that can trouble even high levelled teams of adventurers. Sailors are taught at an early age to respect and fear this raging monster, along with tales of the magical freezing spells it can bring to battles.

The seasaur is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it's a fearsome sea serpent armed with powerful breath attacks.

Description[edit]

The seasaur is a large aquatic monster, similar to the mythological Leviathan. It's a relative of the abyss diver, only far stronger and armed with stronger icy elemental breath attacks that can trouble even high levelled teams of adventurers. Sailors are taught at an early age to respect and fear this raging monster, along with tales of the magical freezing spells it can bring to battles.
