The technicolor dollop makes its first appearance outside of the original trilogy in the Nintendo 3DS remake of the seventh game. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]
The Rainbow Drop returns once again in the 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. It is an accessory that provides a chance for spells and abilities to consume no MP. This effect has a base chance of 25% and can be raised even higher with use of the Fun-Size Forge, allowing for a maximum chance of 40%. It also boosts magical might by +16, magical mending by +17, and charm by +29, which can also be boosted with the forge, allowing for maximum boosts of +22, +23, and +35 respectively.
