The [[ship]] went down many years prior to the events of the game while [[Eric]] was caught onboard, dooming it's crew to sail forever as they have not even realized they've died. Eric's ghost and his [[Locket of Love|locket]] can be found onboard, and obtaining his locket is essential to reuniting him with his lost lover [[Olivia]] to gain entrance to the [[List of shrines in Dragon Quest III#Olivia's Promontory|her promontory]].

The Ghost Ship is a roaming ghost ship in Dragon Quest III.

The ship went down many years prior to the events of the game while Eric was caught onboard, dooming it's crew to sail forever as they have not even realized they've died. Eric's ghost and his locket can be found onboard, and obtaining his locket is essential to reuniting him with his lost lover Olivia to gain entrance to the her promontory.
