The Tower of Transcendence is a tower dungeon in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
It is an optional dungeon located north of Alltrades Abbey. It contains a treasure chest holding the Words of Wisdom which is required for vocations other than the Gadabout to become a Sage. In the original NES version, this is the only location of the scroll.

The secret of the tower is found by falling off of one of the rope paths, which is accessed by climbing the stairs in the small room adjacent to the tower itself in the upper left corner of the map.
