The Neverglade is a forest in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

Detail[edit]

The Neverglade contains one of the few known entrances to the Faerie Lea, and can only be accessed by riding the Flying Carpet. Accessing the Faerie Lea might not be easy however, as the path to the area is a maze which often leads one wandering in circles if not paying attention. Bring Parry and Madchen with you though, and they might just see something an adult cannot, providing a useful hint on how to proceed.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

In the 3DS and Definitive Edition of the game, the Neverglade can be accessed via the Altar of the Heavenly Bride in the Echo Chamber. Everyone in the forest is extremely sleepy due to the soporific effects of a flower monster. The Luminary and his party cannot find the flower on their own and must be guided by a fairy who only Veronica can see, much like how the Hero's children spot a fairy who shows them to the portal in the original game. Veronica's Party Chat dialogue in the Neverglade is almost identical to the Party Talk dialogue said by Madchen in Dragon Quest V.

Additionally, the Prince of Cannock can be found in the Neverglade as part of the Cannock Castle side quest after the party first looks for him in the Roamer Encampment, the Imperial Pantry of Parthenia, and Whealbrook. The Hero uses the powers of the Luminary to send the wayward prince home.
