Souped-up skills
Souped-up skills (超絶技 Chō zetsugi) are powered up versions of common abilities that characters can access after obtaining the soul sigil. These secret techniques can only be used when a character is on the back heel at first, but as the adventure continues they will learn to perform them under less dire circumstances.
Note that the "skills" part of the name is a bit of a misnomer as several souped-up abilities are actually spells. Though vulnerable to Bounce and Fizzle, they grow in strength based on the character's wisdom stat like all other attack magic.

Note that Erdrick's Fire and Gigagash can only be used when Princess Gwaelin has been powered up by the Goddess Rubiss and randomly prays for her Hero's victory in battle. This can be accomplished by returning to Castle Tantegel as soon as the player obtains the magic key in Rimuldar and takes the sunstone from the hermit in the castle gazebo―this allows the player to take the princess along for the entire journey.
