Moonahan is a village in central Torland, just north of Moonbrooke. The town serves as a central location for several quests during the early portion of the game. Specifically, freeing the Princess of Moonbrooke, retrieving the Windbraker, and departing for Rippleport.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line
Moonahan is the meeting point of the three Luminaries. After obtaining the Mirror of Ra, the princes can use it on a dog in the upper-east section of the town to break Hargon's curse and reveal that it is really the princess.
Moonahan is also home to the Water Sigil. It is hidden behind a Golden Key door and a Jailor's Key door. The heroes must then fight two grimlins and search the empty cell to find it. The location of this crest is hinted by a man in Beran.
