The King of Portoga, wanting pepper from the town of Baharata, gives Erdrick the Royal Scroll so that Norud the Hobbit will grant passage in his tunnel.

Dragon Quest IV
Hoping to prevent a war between countries, The King of Endor gives Torneko Taloon to present to The King of Ballymoral.
