An Angel bell (てんしのすず tenshi no suzu, also known as Cherub chime) is a common item, first appearing in Dragon Quest V. When used on an ally, it removes the Confused status ailment.

Called Cherub chime in both the DS and smartphone versions of this game, it can be bought for 500g at the item shops in Lodestar Harbour and Helmunaptra, and can be sold for 250g. It has a 1/64 chance of being dropped by the Air duckt enemy.
Dragon Quest IX
Angel bells can be bought from certain shops for 90 gold, and can be sold for half price. They are a common item, found in towns such as Port Llaffan and Dourbridge. They can also be dropped by enemies like Chariot chappies and Lost souls.
