Horse manure or Dung is an item that can be found in all Dragon Quest games, from Dragon Quest IV on.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
In the NES Verison it is known as the Gum Pod, and Nintendo DS is known as Horse manure. It is has no known use, other than to be sold for 1 gold coin. Torneko will be disgusted if he appraises it.
It can be found in:
- Chapter 2 in a jar at the Desert Bazaar.
- In Chapter 3, a shop in Reginhart will appear to be selling medicinal herbs for 8 gold coins, but it's really dung. If distributed in Torneko's shop, it will be sold for 3 gold coins.
- Ballymoral
- Fungeon
- Immigrant Town (4th Stage)
Dragon Quest VIII
The dung can be used for some recipes in the alchemy pot.
Dragon Quest IX
An equine extra that exudes a pungent perfume.
