Bazaar
A Bazaar appears in Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest VI & Dragon Quest VIII and is only open for a very short time and carries discounted weapon's armor and other quest items you can find useful. Warning: If players don't buy something there when they have the chance, it can be missed entirely.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
This bazaar is available only in Chapter 2: Princess Alena's Adventure. You need to travel here on you quest to find the Birdsong nectar to restore Tsar Stepan of Zamoksva's voice.
Though the Bazaar is over after the 2nd Chapter, the merchant holds it remains at Aubout du Monde's inn during both Chapter 5 & Chapter 6.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The Haggleton bazaar is only accessible in the very beginning of the game. The Hero must take goods from Weaver's Peak to sell for the Ceremony crown in Haggleton.
The quest items in this bazaar consist of the world map, and the Spirit crown. You can also find discounted armor and weapons here but be careful not to be scammed. There is also a special deal on Medicinal herbs
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The bazaar begins in the Castle Town of Argonia after The Hero's party and Prince Charmles finish up at the Royal Hunting Ground. In addition to more items, weapons and armour, there's also an item peddler who sells Prayer ring for 9,000 gold coins (he is gone after Dhoulmagus is defeated) and a girl who sells each person or group a Yggdrasil leaf for 1,000 gold coins (Having one or more leaves will prevent her from selling to the party).
Though an NPC stresses the bazaar ending after a while, the shops opening during the time merely relocate to a building between the church and castle.
