An old man from [[Soo]] hopes to turn a field into a town.  He requires help from the [[merchant]] aiding The [[Hero (Dragon Quest III)|Hero]].  The field will go through 5 stages (4 in the [[NES]] Version).  During the development, the merchant starts to push the towns people hard, resulting in his/her arrest.  The [[Super Famicom]] and [[GBC]] Version of the game ends with the merchant being released from jail, and rejoining The Hero.  The development of the town is necessary in obtaining a [[Yellow Orb]].

The Immigrant Town is an open space in several Dragon Quest games that can be made into a town. The following that exist are:

Immigrant Town (Dragon Quest III)

In this game, Immigrant Town is built on the present day field which once was a town of Dialac. The town is made on the request of the old man, Sim who is presently occupied the field. There are five types of town that can be made which includes Normal Town, Farm, Cathedral, Bazaar and Slum.
