The echo flute is an item in the Dragon Quest series. It can be used in locating either the 5 Sigils and the Six Orbs in the main games, and is a valuable tool in Builders 2.

The echo flute is given to Luminaries by a man in Rippleport after he retrieves his sunken treasure.

The Echo Flute is found in one of four chests after falling into the center pit, on the top floor of The Fifer's Spire. It is in the southeastern chest.

The echo flute is given to the Hero and party by Empyrea after the first battle with Rhapthorne.

Dragon Quest Builders 2[edit]

The Echo Flute becomes available to players in Khrumbul Dun to search out finer metals to restore Goldirox to a proper Gold golem. After the adventure on mining island is complete, the flute can be used on any explorer's shore to find items on the checklist--this is especially useful for the final two or three items.

Dragon Quest Treasures[edit]

The echo flute appears as treasure No. 52 in the legendary items category, with a base value of 4,900,000.
