Hermes' hat

The Hermes' Hat (also known as the Wind Hat) is a piece of headwear in the Dragon Quest series. It casts Zoom on use.

Appearances

Dragon Quest V

The Hermes' hat has a defence bonus of +28. They can be bought for 5,000 gold. Bianca, Nera, and the Hero's Daughter can equip it.

Dragon Quest VI

The Hermes' hat cannot be bought, but it can be sold for 3,750 gold. It is found in Slimopolis at Rank H and Gustblusters may drop them. It has a defense bonus of +28 and a style bonus of +8. The Hero, Milly, Ashlynn, Nevan, and all slime allies except Goowain can equip it.

Dragon Quest VII

The wind hat has a defence bonus of +24 and an appearance bonus of +8. It can be worn by the Hero, Maribel, Gabo, and Melvin. It can be sold for 2,500 gold but not bought.

Dragon Quest VIII

The hermes' hat has a defence bonus of +20. All party members can equip it. It can be sold for 1,400 gold.
