The Blue Orb is a royal treasure of [[Sniflheim]]. It can be gained in any order in relation to the [[Purple Orb|purple]] and [[Silver Orb|silver]] orbs, but it is meant to be the last orb acquired. When the Hero and party enter Sniflheim, it is frozen in ice. Only [[Queen Frysabel]] remains; the party agree to try and thaw the town, and the Queen agrees to give them the orb in exchange. After everything connected to the freezing of Sniflheim is resolved, the Queen rewards the party with the Blue Orb.

During Act 2, the Blue Orb is in the possession of the Spectral Sentinel [[Indignus]], who uses it to emulate [[Disruptive Wave]] during the boss battle against him. The Blue Orb is a key item in Dragon Quest III. It is one of the Six Orbs required to hatch Ramia. It is located in a treasure chest within the Navel of the Earth.

Dragon Quest XI
