A Seed of strength is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a seed that permanently increases the Strength of whoever consumes it. They can be found throughout the world in treasure chests, dropped by monsters, and by searching in different places, such as bags, pots, and drawers. The seeds cannot be purchased at any store, and give the user 1~3 points of Strength.

Mimics and Red horn will drop them 1/256 times (1/512 for stealing), and Geyzer will drop one 100% of the time.

It can be mixed with the Prayer ring through alchemy to make a Strength ring and also be sold for 15 gold coins.
